What we do
Back-to-back trading
Sea Bunkering carries out back-to-back trading of marine fuels. This practice involves buying and selling fuel but not actually handling the product. Trading activities take place primarily in the UK and Europe with some trading in the Mediterranean and other parts of the world.
Physical Supply
In May 2007 Sea Bunkering expanded into physical supply. Using the services of Sea Tankers, another Geos Group company, and our own branded trucks to collect and deliver marine fuel primarily in the UK.

Location of Operations

SBL is a worldwide bunkering service with a major physical presence in both the offshore market in Scotland and the south east corner of the UK.

SBL’s back-to-back trading business operates predominantly in the North Sea and the English Channel. Throughout its history, SBL has built up a global supply network.

Operations for physical supply by ship are focused on major ports in the UK and northern Europe.

SBL has fuel tanks in Aberdeen, Heysham and Peterhead.

SBL’s fleet of trucks operates throughout the south east corner of England.

SBL has UK offices in Aberdeen, Hull and Henley-on-Thames.
