Over 90% of world trade is carried by the international shipping industry. Without shipping the import and export of goods on the scale necessary for the modern world would not be possible. Sea borne trade continues to expand, bringing benefits for consumers across the world through competitive freight costs. Thanks to the growing efficiency of shipping as a mode of transport and increased economic liberalisation, the prospects for the industry's further growth continue to be strong. Worldwide demand has been continually rising as result of expanding markets such as China and India and as a result the bunker industry has seen prices grow rapidly.

We believe that the UK market will grow in-line with this demand and that we will be in a strong position to expand our service to our existing and future clients.

The current UK market for marine distillates is circa 1.5 million tons per annum of which Sea Bunkering supplies a large proportion through a combination of back-to-back and physical tonnage.
